I personally think Pinsound is a must <\/em>for Jurassic Park and is by far my favorite mod I’ve put into any of my games (not including the v2 Cards<\/a> of course \ud83d\ude09 ); this is mainly due to how it changes the overall experience by adding atmosphere and having epic music and effects when you achieve important goals. I’ve even had friends who are adamant that a game should be kept original from the era who were completely blown away with the upgraded experience. I’d even go as far as saying I don’t know if a Data East pin would stay in my collection for long without one installed. Don’t get me wrong, I think the original sound team did a fantastic job considering the limitations, but the freedom and clarity of a Pinsound installation change the experience of this game. It turns one of the biggest drawbacks of all the Data East pins into a strength.
I’ve spent years updating sound packages for my Jurassic Park. I even think it made me a better pinball player because I was so determined to find out all the hidden audio files and to test out all the new ones I programmed.
