Extra Info (that I couldn’t fit on the cards, but wanted to.)

Intro Side:

Disco Multiball (via the left spinner): The top left of the LCD will tell you how many kits are left to the spinner to start it. It’s in an auto-hide box that comes down from the top, so it only appears during spinner hits and holds only for a few seconds before hiding again.

End-of-Ball Bonus: Weapons, Ninjas and Chimis.”: Weapons (gun icon) are collected from combos white shots, Ninjas (ninja star icon) are collected from blue shots hit after being spawned from the pop bumpers, Chimis (Chimichangas) collected from orange shots.

Stacking Multiballs with Battle or Quest: You need to start the battle or quest FIRST. The only exception is when you’ve locked Lil’ Deadpool for the Multiball but haven’t released the ball (locked behind the OOF targets yet; you can hit the scoop and choose before an OOF target it hit, or the ball is released.

Advanced Side:

Left Side:
Ninja Star icon = Ninjas defeated: Collect Ninjas from spawning blue shots from the pop bumpers then hitting them. Ninjas/Ninja Stars are used for the starting value of Ninja MB jackpots as well as the EOB bonus.

System-J ‘Then Hit’ arrow.

On the System-J cards, this arrow, when between wording is used to denote “, then hit”.
Eg. Hit lit shot (, then hit) right ramp.

Newbie Strategy:

Stacking Multiballs:
A good way to get further in the game (in both score and progress) is to stack a Multiball into a Battle or Quest. Stacking is where you have multiple modes running at the same time. All modes and multiballs do not stack though, and this is one of the main reasons learning the rules will increase your game.

Lil’ Deadpool is a good place to start. Hitting the OOF targets and the Lil’ Deadpool target behind it will start the multiball. What you want to practice is hitting the targets down and hit the target once or twice (but not again after it’s cycling colours), then start a Battle or a Quest at the scoop; THEN hit the Lil’ Deadpool target until the Multiball starts. You’ll now not only have 2 balls to help win the mode, but also a ball saver that will start with the multiball.

Note on stacking multiballs: Lil’ Deadpool and Ninja Multiball are the only 2 stackable multiballs.

BOOM lanes and Bombs:
It helps to know how and when to use your action button in gameplay. First, whenever the ball in about to go through an inlane, be sure to cycle the BOOM letters so that you are hitting an un-lit rollover. One BOOM is spelled, the inserts all un-light again and the action button will start flashing. Don’t hit it yet. Wait for a good moment in the game, say for instance when you are in a battle you can hit it to spot a shot that you find hard to hit. Or say if you have the ball under control and there’s only one shot left to an enemy. You can use the bomb and then focus your attention to the scoop for the ‘Deadpool wins’ final blow Jackpot.

Strategy: Battles

Battles:

Sabretooth: This is the go to battle if no team-up or Multiball is ready. It’s less risky than Juggernaut and takes less hits than Mystique. The center spinner is lit but seems more common that players will send it whichever opposite side orbit the ball is currently on (for instance if the ball is around the right flipper, aim for the left orbit. Since the orbit feed the pop bumpers, you damage Sabretooth with the orbit hit and the pops on the way down. Getting a BAM! lane on the way is great perk of this strategy.
That said, the right orbit is quite tight. If you are having a hard time hitting it and you have the ball controlled on the left flipper, the center (Wolverine) spinner is a good option as the feed back from the left orbit can be controllable.

Mystique:
I will often go with Mystique if I have the Wolverine perk and have, or am close to having a BOOM bomb (button will be flashing after completing the bottom lanes). The reason you want to do this because there is sort of an exploit. When you hit the center spinner it activates Double Damage so that the spins count as double. Often after a solid hit to the spinner, if you hit the boom button right after it is enough to Kill defeat Mystique.

Juggernaut:
Juggernaut is the most dangerous of the battles due to the need to hit the side targets. But it’s also the most valuable battle. For these reasons players often will stack a multiball into it. Especially Lil’ Deadpool since it’s easy to spot when it’s ready, the shot to start it is easier, and it’s not as valuable on it’s own compared to Ninja Multiball. Remember though, that if you brought Wolverine into the battle you need to hit the center spinner before the Double Damage counts towards damaging Juggernaut.

Strategy: Multiballs

Lil’ Deadpool Multiball:

Many player seem to use this multiball as a utility multiball. Especially for stacking with Juggernaut since hitting all the targets are risky. So much so that you’ll see advanced players swear if they start it without stacking it.
BUT… you can get some good scores on it if you plug away and get to the more advanced phases of the multiball. For me it was researching Deadpool in-depth for these cards. Once I learned the multiball progress I started enjoying the progress of moving though it. And with the progress came better scores.

As always in this game, getting the Snikt playfield multiplier helps with the score, but it especially seem to lend itself to these 2 multiballs.

Ninja Multiball (NMB) Jackpot Value

Jackpots for NMB is determined from how many ninja starts you have collected (see below for how to collect). This means the longer you wait to play NMB the more points it’ll be worth. This of course is a great example of risk/reward in the game where if you try to avoid getting the MB until the value is higher, you risk missing the MB all together.

Ninja Star icon = Ninjas defeated: Collect Ninjas from spawning blue shots from the pop bumpers then hitting them. Ninjas/Ninja Stars are used for the starting value of Ninja MB jackpots as well as the EOB bonus.

NMB can be also used as more of a ‘utility’ MB where it can be stacked after starting a standard battle of quest. You would do this if you feel like the battle/quest can be completed easier in MB. There’s always safety in the beginning of a MB where there’s usually a ball-save. But sometimes say like in the case where you need to hit ramps, a mulitball can get in the way unless you are good with control and can cradle a ball, which, btw, is quite hard on Deadpool.
