System-J Pinball

I personally think Pinsound is a must for Jurassic Park. It’s by far my favorite mod I’ve made to any of my collection (not including v2 Cards of course 😉 ); this is mainly due to how it changes the overall experience it adds and the atmosphere it creates. I’ve even had friends who are adamant that a game should be kept original from the era, who were completely blown away with the upgraded experience. I’d even go as far as saying I don’t know if a Data East pin would stay in my collection for long without one installed. Don’t get me wrong, I think the original sound team did a fantastic job considering the limitations, but the freedom and clarity of a Pinsound installed changes the experience of this game. It turns one of the biggest drawbacks of a the Data East pins into a strength.
I’ve spent years updating sound packages for my Jurassic Park. I even think it made me a better pinball player because I was so determined to find out all the hidden audio files, and to test out all the new ones I programmed. I wanted to add a ‘thank you’ for anyone who’s bought a set of the JP1 v2 Cards, so I decided to share some of my sound packages that I’ve been working on ahead of sharing them to the wider Pinsound community. Below is a link to the newest Jurassic Park Pinsound sound package that I’ve done. As I update and change sound packages, I’ll be uploading the preview below and sharing selected sound packages to the Pinsound Community.

Early Preview for JP v2 patrons :
OST26 v5.2–Ultimate Jungle: Dropbox Link-Password Protected ZIP file (NOTE: If you don’t have a password already and bought a set of JP1 v2 Cards (you should’ve receive your password with the cards), please email me with when and where you bought the cards).
Another NOTE on downloading: You don’t have to sign-in to Dropbox, just click the “Or continue with download only” link at the bottom:

Remember to unpack the password protected zip file before loading it on your USB drive (you should be able to just add the zip file inside the password protected file and your Pinsound card will un-pack it for you). If you have issues with the password (especially with getting the long filename error), try using WinRar, 7-Zip, or another 3rd-party zip extractor that you trust (the default Windows zip decompressor sucks). Please msg me with any issues you have with downloading.

Archived Versions: Due to limited space, I’m just sharing the most current version of OST26. Eventually I want to have a shared folder with all my alternate version for people to try out. Until then, I hope you enjoy the most current share file.

Note for anyone wanting to further develop these sound packages:
I’ve added a lot of notes in all the “System-J” sound packages on what the sound folders do; these are in “notes.txt” files in many of the folders with such notes as “used for (insert specific mode)”. I left these in hoping that it will help anyone who attempts further (or alterative) development of sound packages for JP. I’ve been updating the notes files right up until the latest versions and still haven’t felt like I’ve found every connection in the sound package. …good luck, I hope it comes useful …and have fun.
